Testimonials are a breach of confidentiality, unethical and unreliable.

Confidentiality breaches refer to unauthorised access, use or disclosure of confidential information. Such infringement may compromise the security or integrity of a client.

I understand that clients in search of therapy do read testimonials. Testimonials might look good on a website, but the priority is to ensure the client’s confidentiality.

To provide high standards of professionalism, I work with a code of ethics that encourages ethical conduct, business honesty, integrity, and best practices.

The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NCHP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) consider testimonials unethical.

I choose not to publish clients’ testimonials on my website.
